Stoops shoots down the rumor one more time. I agree with the above posters that think it will be Brian Billick.

Notre Dame is stupid to not wait on Saban or Meyer. If I was ND, I would make them tell me no.

ND isn't going to take a high risk with this hire. Too much riding on it at this time.

If indeed it's this fast, I think so, too.

It seems like once the sec champ. Game was over, Notre Dame decided to move the press conf up to Sun. Meyer would seem like the choice. I wonder if Meyer is even going fly home with UF from Atl.

I don't get why a Super Bowl winning coach would want to coach a declining college program. Cowher has nothing to prove. He's won the biggest prize in all of football.

It's not going to be Bill Cowher, Brian Billick, John Gruden, or Jimmy Johnson.

Then why did Billick interview? ND might not want him, but he wants the job.

Inside sources tell me Saban was offered 6 million a year. What is he making at Bama - 4?

Source? I've heard nothing of the sort, besides unsubstantiated rumors, much like the Cowher/Johnson/Gruden talk.

Dude I agree. I think it's slim to none they hire an NFL guy. Bad move IMO. I don't think Gruden/Cowher/Johnson would take it. They can get that money in the NFL or half in the broadcast booth.
