Napier's Entire Staff So Far

Solely made up of dudes from ULL including naming his strength coach as associate HC like he was in Laffy.
He can maybe make it work if he hires the right OC/DC but right now just looks like he's getting his boys a Payday

I dont think people understand the difference between running a sunbelt program vs an SEC program. I actually think its troubling he copies Saban so much. It might work out but UF is taking a huge risk IMO.

This is the epitome of safe space that will get a coach fired quickly. It's becoming very apparent Napier wasn't ready for SEC time. His moves have been bad so far. We may have dodged a bullet here. No wonder LSU never talked to him. Guess we'll see.
You're in a league where TAMU is buying every 5* out there, Saban, Jimbo, hell, even Ole Miss is relevant with Kiffin. It's extremely competitive right now and hard to win in. You go out and hire your old staff..in the SEC when you look at the blood matches going on with the coaching hires+recruiting? Not smart for Billy Bob. He's going to learn quick but it may be too late by then.

Most HCs are close with their S&C Coach since he's the team daddy during the times when the HC cant be there.
Not gonna put a guy you dont know / trust in that position
His DC who fielded the 11th scoring D in the nation is now his Safeties Coach
His RB coach has SEC Exp.
His prior DC is now DC for Aranda. Yeah, this guy doesnt know what good coaches look like

Freeze brought EVERYONE from Arkansas State with him to Ole Miss. I was nervous as hell when he did that and didn’t make any hires that were known at the time.
Turns out that staff was pretty damn good and led us to some great years. He’s surrounding himself with people he trusts and knows that he can get results from. I wouldn’t worry too much about it
