Napier to UF doesn’t make sense

People were saying Napier to TCU, UVA, UW, and all the other subpar schools, but now Napier to UF makes sense? Honestly, how? UF is right behind LSU, heck, I’d call them even with Clemson. So now Napier is worthy of a better job than all those other schools listed, but not LSU? It just bugs people that he coaches at another Louisiana school.
FWIW: I think if we end up with Aranda, Napier, or Campbell LSU is in a great spot.

This goes both ways, for and against him.
Those of us that don’t care where he coaches just see a solid resume that shows he’s ready for a move to a P5 job, just not a top 5 job in all of CFB.

These never really made sense, after he turned down Auburn last year. Why would he go to inferior schools? His stock has definitely not gone down this season.

LSU is Napier’s number 1 choice. He’s campaigned for it and is in the running. I think Napier is number 2 on LSU list and he knows if he’s getting it or not. If he signs with UF we got our first choice

He will raid this LSU class unless they can hire a show stopper, like Jimbo or Riley. I like Aranda but he ain’t hold on this class together.

Lol. If Napier is #2 on Woodward’s list then Woodward should just pack his bags now. Napier isn’t getting this job nor should he. It has nothing to do with ULL. It has everything to do with LSU being a top 3 job in the country snd not handing the reins over to someone who’s only done well in the sunbelt. That just isn’t the way things happen nor should it. Napier will be the guy if 20 others say no.

Fanbases want what they perceive the fired coach lacked. They view Napier has a CEO type master recruiter who will load the roster with talent. He’ll put the structure in place, via the Kirby smart model, to win championships.
