those stats just show how pathetic fricking Daronte Jones is
And how bad orgeron has been at hiring coordinators.

Having seen ULL on TV a handful of times, against meh competition, they haven't impressed.
You cannot compare UL’s schedule to LSU’s. That “meh competition”, from the view point of LSU, are teams that are contending for the conference title from the UL perspective. They’re supposed to look evenly matched to weaker teams because they are! You have to look at the job he’s doing with the resources and talent he has. That’s the only way to see how impressive of a job he’s done.
Napier is not my first choice, but those who try to apply the LSU standard to UL are fricking idiotic.

True, but LSU is competing at a whole different level of competition. That said Orgeron and LSU playing in the Sunbelt would have top ten statistics in all categories this season.

Freeze would be a better hire than Napier and it’s not even close.
I'm a huge Napier fan, but .....duh. outside of urban Meyer freeze is the best coach even remotely available.....well maybe briles but he is getting old now.

The other schools in the op are on that level with better results.
Also by his fourth year master recruiter Napier is supposed to have better talent then the rest. So either he’s not having proper evaluations or he can’t develop

If you have data and facts that say otherwise please share it with us.
As has been mentioned, the data you share is skewed like mfer.
How about head to head?
Freeze vs Napier: 0-1 (35-14)
Chadwell vs Napier: 1-1 (L 48-7 and W 30-27)
How about common opponents this season?
UL vs App State: W 41-13 | Coastal L 30-27
What about recruiting rankings?
Liberty: 115
Coastal: 81
ULL: 69
UL went from recruiting classes with 2-3 3* players to classes consisting of almost entirely 3* players. That may sound silly from LSU's perspective, but it's damn impressive when you look at where UL is vs where they were before Napier. The stats don't tell the whole story. It's more about what he's been able to accomplish at the specific school. That's what makes him a great choice.
We can do this shite all day.
At the end of this search, if it's Napier, LSU would be getting one of the best up and coming coaches in the game. Watch a game, see the play calling and what he does with the talent he has.

Fricking Hugh Freeze... how can anyone even want that guy as a coach.

let me just say that i love your commitment to this bit. the way you just completely ignore the post that brings up common opponents and wins/losses is fantastic.

Better results how? Liberty is in a weaker conference. Coastal hasn't even gotten to meat of their Sun Belt schedule. There are other factors to look at here.

Thank you for providing actual facts and statistics!
Head to head Napier is the best out of a pretty piss poor group of candidates.
Let's hope none of them get the job

Statistically speaking Napier is the worst choice so please if anyone can statically or factually make a credible case for Napier over these two I'd love to see the data and discuss
Hookers contacted on univ phones
Napier - 0
Freeze.- >10
Programs left in ncaa shambles
Napier - 0
Freeze - 1
Number of personal Show Cause restrictions in place
Napier - 0
Freeze - 1
And I am not even a Napier guy...

Freeze could win 100 straight games 100-0 and I wouldn’t want him within 500 miles of LSU

Consistent top-5 recruiting classes, and beating Saban two years in a row (at Ole Miss)... I mean, why would anybody want that?!

I really like Chadwell, I think he is a rising star. I'd take him over Napier or Freeze.

Consistent top-5 recruiting classes,
He finished 8th in 2013 and 5th in 2016 and the rest of the time he was 15th or lower. His 2016 class ended being a bust also because only a few panned out and most transferred because he got busted

He is an incredible overall coach who happens to be an offensive genius with elite qb play. Ask Nick Saban (since so many value Saban’s input) what he thinks about Hugh Freeze. He went out or his way to praise him just two years ago. What he has done at Liberty is remarkable. Took them to their first bowl game ever in his first season. What he did in his first Ole Miss season even surprised him.
I believe he recognizes he made a mistake and won’t let that happen again. He got caught up in success and needed to be humbled. I don’t believe he is some horrible person. Every time I see him speak about his players he always talks about how wonderful of a person they are. This is before he answers questions about their play. I believe that goes a long way with his players.
Look it’s not even worth talking about one way or the other, because it is clearly not happening. No matter what he does there will be people that will forever hate him. I rather see someone redeem themselves.
