I don't disagree with your statement, but I do believe once they join the SEC he will not be playing every year for a championship. Once the playing field is leveled out, his status as an elite coach will suffer some just because of the increased talent he will be facing. I'm not sure if their fan base could handle not being a top 4 program every year.

Assuming the following “white whales” are out of play: Saban, Tomlin, Dabo, Rhule
It should be narrowed down to Aranda and Napier at this point. I guess a distant 3rd would be Jimbo but I don’t see both saying no.
Regarding Riley: he’d be very dependent on the DC hire.
