Wrong there. I've had one source on anything ever in my life. I used it once 4 years ago to call my shot...they were right that time about Kelly and so I'm 1 for 1 with 1 pending here 4 years later.
I've already gone on record that I believe my source is shooting me straight about what's currently going on behind the scenes.
I've also gone on record that I think they will ultimately fall short in their attempts to lure Saban out of retirement. If they do, I'll get blasted on this site as some sort of grifter and will be labeled as a pariah.
But at least I can say I called my shot...unlike you.

I heard it was a coach that EVERYONE would be happy to have, Verge as AD and was not given names about the President but all three would be announced at the same time. This person knew Brian Kelly was getting fired on the Saturday before the A&M game. Time will tell.

I always think information is completely invalid when someone mentions their "source" knew Kelly was getting fired BEFORE the TAMU game. Not even Woodward knew that

I just read everyone’s crap. Just because I don’t post doesn’t mean this is made up.You can believe what you want to believe. Your choice. I’ve been reading on this board for so long that I do remember “belowpar” and I believe “tigerbaitlawyer” or whatever his name was posting what they knew. I don’t typically post anything but I did find it interesting what I heard.

I don't post a lot usually, unless I'm defending myself against people who can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that the fan base that has fantasized about the day Saban would return are now attempting to get him to return.

The only timeline mentioned was the desire to have the new University President and Asst. AD in place soon. ( Like tomorrow soon)
I say Asst. AD because they said the plan was to take the interim tag off of Verge Ausberry.
The Saban part was that he was being courted and would continue to be until he said no. Big money was being thrown around but what my source said was not near as high as the 80 and 100M being stated by other threads. This one was more in the 13M to 14M per year for 3yrs.
I'm personally doubtful Saban enters the grind again but I'm along for the ride either way.
