I mean OSU's OC is also an OL coach, so it's not like the OL will be forgotten. The OC is moving from OC/OL to OC/TE coach and the TE coach is moving to an admin role (he's pretty old I think)

OSU fans have a hatred for Luke Fickell you may not find anywhere else. If the D played well, it was completely due to Ash, while if the D played poorly, it was 100% on Fickell.
I don't think he was an "assistant" DC, but I also do not believe he was the defensive playcaller. He did very good things for OSU's secondary

don't expect him to do much recruiting either. Lazy, fat slob couldn't even get off his arse and recruit Northern La. Of course that didn't stop him from lying about doing so and filling out his mileage reimbursement sheets

better strategy would be to keep him in Columbus and let him recruit the local kids that grew up Ohio State fans. He would still only get 2/5 of the local kids
