I'd take petrino in a heartbeat. I don't care that he likes young arse. I wouldn't touch briles. Hey, but I'm an idiot for wanting a damn good coach that got caught up in what MANY very successful coaches have done.

i'm glad alleva is doing this and not you.

Face the facts...LSU is getting played by Fisher/Sexton.

You just proved the point of how good a coach he is. Are you a woman? Did he do you wrong? Because what you are saying is bs. If Louisville felt that way they damb sure wouldn't have brought him back.

Why are you doggedly debating this? Petrino isn't even a candidate at this point. It's a moot issue. THE only real question is whether we end up with a marquee coach like Herman/Fisher, a risk like Fedora, or a failure like O.

That's how I feel about the clowns on here who say they don't want a coach won 90% of his games from 2012-2015 with three conference titles and a NC.

Maybe, maybe not. Could end up both FSU and LSU are getting played and the deal just happens to go to highest bidder. It is about wits and willpower.

It is a fact that both LSU and FSU are getting played in this situation. Jimbo and Sexton have the high ground in this battle of negations for the coach's services. I think Jimbo likes LSU and has let that be known for sometime but he also is good where he's at pending them meeting his demands. We'll see but I don't think he is leaving after the smoke clears.

The fact that no one is talking about Herman is kinda strange. Remember we were the first big time school to reach out to him I'm pretty sure. After week 4 I guess. Him coming here just makes too much sense. Him and Aranda are friends, playing in the SEC, full cupboard of talent to work with day 1.

PLEASE COME HERE HERMAN DEAR GOD.

So him coming is more likely than not, but we need more information about the deal breakers...

Love the way Herman has his team prepared for big games. Can only imagine what he could do with more talent. Fisher is good offensively but pared with Aranda he could be sick good. Either coach would be great at LSU. Don't frick this up Joe !!!

Heard from someone who heard from someone the offer to Jimbo is 6.9 million. Totally cannot confirm.

Herman is a risk. He is my #1, but a risk. Fedora has done a good job at every stop. I don't want him, but he has. Calling O a failure is a joke....he has worked his arse off.

I realize what he did. My guess is you don't have a pot to piss in, and have yet to accomplish anything in life, yet you are calling me "so dumb" although I worked hard and planned properly and retired in my 40s. But I'm the dumb one.
