Then maybe we can stop hearing this ridiculous case for Mel freakin Tucker.
He isn’t the best coach in his state. He isn’t a top 5 coach in the conference.

If LSU had an opening in 2-3 years.. and Mel had a track record of beating top 25 teams, then we can talk.

Last year everybody went nuts for Tom Allen. This year he is an afterthought.

Time reveals your merit. Tucker hasn’t proven a dang thing. Beat good teams for a few years, then you can move up to the big leagues.

Just like the quote i saw about Aranda not being "seasoned enough" and isn't considered a top candidate. Literally the same can be said for Tucker. No one knows anything. We did this song and dance with the baseball hire. The guy no one thought was going to get hired did. Yet all those front runners didn't come to pass.
