I'll need a rundown on your experience with "bodybuilding," if you catch my drift. Past warnings or bans from any sort of athletics governing bodies will be considered as plusses as long as you can detail what you learned from the experience to prevent getting cau... um, I mean, to prevent that from happening again.

I peaked in HS and have over 40 years of experience as a dedicated arm chair coach that has solved most play calling on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I would like to join you staff in some capacity. I believe my experience speaks for itself.

I could see a position for you as my "Get Back" coach, as in, "Hey, I know the Alabama game is on but until the PSU game is over you have to get back on the sideline."

Ill throw my hat in to be your DC. My only experience is playing Madden and NCAA football, but I don’t take showers with children, so they won’t have to worry about that, since it was a problem for them in the past.

Don't be ridiculous. Coach O could never swing that girl.
I bet the head coach at PSU could, though.
"Happy Valley, indeed."

Tell them you will install Da Joe Brady Offense. They'll hire you on the spot

They moved my interview up a bit, probably because they want to keep Matt Campbell as a backup plan in case I say no. After the usual pleasantries to open things up this is how I remember the conversation going:
AD: Now, can you tell me about what kind of offense you would install here at Penn State?
ME: Money plays.
AD: Money plays?
ME: Yeah, that's right. We'll run nothing but money plays.
AD: What, uh, is a money play?
ME: Ah, not a gamer. A money play is a play that can't be stopped, no matter what defense is used against it.
AD: I... see. And what kind of play do you consider to be a money play?
ME: Tight end streak, for one.
AD: You believe that a tight end streak cannot be stopped?
ME: I don't believe it. I know it. Honestly that might be the only play we run.
AD: And you think that will be enough to win games?
ME: Not only that, I expect the opposing coach to rage quit by the middle of the second quarter. Which will be great, because it ought to give me time to catch the Bama game. Oh, did I mention that I'll be wearing Bama gear on the sideline? Go ahead and note that down in your little book as a "nonnegotiable."
The conversation didn't last much longer after that. I think he was so impressed by my football acumen that he didn't feel he needed much more information. I'm on the lookout for a draft contract to pop up in my email any minute now.
