Why are you equating the work of a head coach to an assistant coach?

eta: Also what's the point you're even trying to make? they're both impressive feats, but what is the message?

More impressive than both:

A defensive line coach that was winless in his last season in the SEC convincing a school to hire him for one of the best coaching jobs in the country

To be fair, Herman received A LOT of credit from everyone for what he did as an OC at Ohio State. Including from me

Didn't all the Hermanites equate beating Bama in the playoffs as all Herman's work and not Urban's?

Why yes. Yes they did. As far as the question from another poster as to why I asked, the answer is simple.

A lot of folks wanted Herman for his OC genius. If Canada is our potential OC, I was wondering if his success against 2 top 5 teams was worthy of the same accolades as Herman's successes.

The lowest number of points Pitt produced this season was 28 pts 2X. The next lowest total was 36. Not too bad. If LSU's lowest output this season was 19 pts they would be undefeated. Tougher competition of course, but much better roster as well.

Sorry, just trying to give fans a little hope. You may now return to your misery.

Come on, man! That crap is getting old- starting to sound like freaking crying libtards over the Hillary loss...

O is the head coach- if you are miserable with that fact, then maybe you should change to a different fan base...
