If he can make Tulane a winner-imagine what he would do at State!

Willie is 60. Why start another rebuilding project?

He would probably turn them down also.

Cause he's 60 and the time to get a shot at "the big time" is running out.

Whoever gets the MSU job will face three behemoths in their own division plus have to knock heads in-state with Joey Freshwater. That's not a real appealing proposition.

Plus has to live in Starkville. They completely screwed up by not pulling the trigger after the Egg Bowl.

I always get a kick out of someone saying this that lives in Baton Rouge.

I actually think he would fail at Mississippi State. I’m not just saying that because I want him to stay, State is just a horrible situation in the toughest College Football division. His system would get fricked hard by Bama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, etc.

I mean Baton Rouge might suck but at least LSU is a national power.

Starkville sucks and has a school that it’s impossible to win at.

So why exactly are you laughing again?

Baton rouge isn't a lot of things but it's sure is better than taking a job at MSU.

Fritz has good thing going at Tulane, why leave to get his teeth kicked in at state? He has enough money
