If so it will be in the offseason. We first have to weigh our options on candidates before letting our most winning head coach walk.

Uhhhhh, if we fire him in the offseason, we can guarantee that there will not be any worthy candidates out there.

You mean after all the schools looking for a coach make their hires? After the Bowl games? Not advocating one way or another. I'm just saying that if you do it, then you do it the Monday after the regular season finale at the latest.

People can downvote all they want but I got that feeling today as well. I think loose lips blew this opportunity. People started leaking stuff about Jimbo and I think this was a one option deal.

I have watched this happen a few times, only on the Internet . The pace usually seems very slow. I think that is just the difference between the net and real life.

What? The only people leaking anything about Jimbo were some posters on the rant. There hasn't been media reports with any substantial rumors that Jimbo was coming. Everybody with half a brain knew that his name would be thrown around during LSU's next coaching search.
