Really dont know what to think. All these articles keep popping up aout UM's interest and we all know it is his dream job. However I believe Miles will stay as he is a man of his word. He has not really done anything till now for us to think otherwise so until then I will trust his words!!!

The Miles / Michigan thing will not be over until Michigan hires a new coach...

Why don't they just ask Carr back for another year so we can do this all over again next December?

The Rutgers coach was offered the job. Miles will not take sloppy 2nds 3rds or whatever.
He is not going there at this point.
Done and Done.

Speaking of BLOWING IT... did you see the way Miles blew up at his press conference? That made it very clear to me that he would have wilted int he meat grinder that is Michigan. He caved. He wilted. He let the pressure get to him. He let us see him sweat. His agent contact UM BEFORE he was supposed to. Wonder who put himup to it?

Michigan lost Miles when they low balled him on a salary. Just like Urban Meyer and Norte Dame.
So say you were the coach at LSU and were offered about 1 million dollars a year LESS PER YEAR to go home would you?

Makes you wonder who their rantards want.
Also makes you wonder if at least the guy who thought Miles blew it ever reads any actual news. The fact is that Bertman has been reported as saying that while Michigan couldn't talk to Miles directly before the SEC game, Michigan could talk to his agent. So explain to me again how Miles blew it? His agent was not barred from talking to Michigan.
And also explain to me the reports that say that Michigan contacted Schiano without clearing it with Rutgers.
So, instead of shifting blame to Miles, the blame for botching the situation (at least from the Michigan point of view) remains squarely on Michigan's AD, if in fact he ever really had any interst in Miles.

I hope DeBored leaves far away from Ann Arbor.

See I was right about these rumors resurfacing and the next one is that Michigan will not hire a coach until after 1/8. They are going to throw the kitchen sink at him.

that petition they have online has a lot of people pledging money to pay him too.

Regardless of who is the next head coach at Michigan, don't they have to keep the current coaching staff? I thought Carr pushed for this and Michigan agreed to it. This may be one reason it is taking them so long to get a new head coach.

It is obviously NOT a money thing if he goes to Michigan.
He will not be making the money he will make at LSU, especially if he wins the BCSNCG.
He will not have the money to pay assistants the he now has at LSU.
He will have to either pay the 1.25 mil buyout himself or pay taxes on the money spent on his behalf to buy it out by UM boosters.
So money won't factor into a decision for Michigan.

Thanks for the info so far in advance and maybe some people around here won't jump to conclusions so fast next time.
