Just curious, what is Carr's role in the AD department besides outgoing Head coach and official hater of Miles!?!? Does he have any official capacity on who gets hired or does he just gets to whisper in Martin's ear "No Les Miles"?!?

I don't think that Michigan is offering much money. Les will be making a boat load at LSU. Michigan, I don't think wants to offer that kind of money. They must feel the prestige of the progam is payment enough.

What? Minorities? That makes no sense. I have no affiliation or rooting interest with USC if that is what you are thinking. I am a Buckeye alum living in Southern California (to long for screen name which I came up with in about 3 seconds).

What I find ironic, and enlightening, in this whole process is that Dan Dierdorf, a Hall of Famer, and many, many Michigan lettermen, wanted Les in the worse way. Yet we have many LSU fans, some on this board, many of whom probably never even played the game at any level,who question his coaching abilities. They have a right to their opinion, but go figure.

On Michigan boards, there is a lot of talk about Miles still coming here. They hinted at UM's President making contact with Les' agent yesterday.
