If Miles simply moves Mallory to "D" coordinator and Pevito to LB coach, how would that be viewed?

I know how I would feel, but just wondering what the rant thought. He has only said that changes were being made. Nothing has been said about a new "D" coordinator coming in.

I would be very disappointed.

It has been confirmed that Miles has interview a few candidates..

Tigernation is fully expecting a new name as DC, someone not on staff

I personally, would be very discouraged if Miles just let Mallory have the job. After what we witnessed and what we are used too, ummm, not happening again. This is LSU, changes have to made to correct and obtain the "fix"

This year was a huge problem, the players looked as though they quit on the coaches.

That is a sign of death for a HC future.

We need a big hire here. Miles is not strong enough a coach to handle the Defense on his own, tweaking, coaching positions etc..he needs the best.

I am not saying Miles can't coach, simply he is a CEO type that needs to hire quality and demand excellence, which Miles does for the most part in Pelini and Crowton hires.

What I see in Saban for example is, he doesn't need a DC at all. He runs every detail in a program. He needs coaches, but you know what I mean right? Anyways...Miles needs this hire to be right, I think he understands the severity of the situation.

This internet is powerful

Just my opinion like all the other coaching change garbage on here...I will believe Les is hiring a new guy when I see it...until then I wont even speculate.

According to Clemson sources, Vic Koenning was leaning to taking the Kansas State position all of the time. There are questions throughout the coaching community as to what changes coach Les Miles has in line for his staff.

There is considerable talk right now that former Syracuse head coach Greg Robinson is a primary candidate for the defensive coordinator's position.

It appears there will not be major changes on the staff. Look for no more than two changes on the defensive staff. Do not be surprised if both Bradley Dale Peveto and Doug Mallory remain on the staff, but not as coordinators. Peveto is trying to get the Northwestern State head coaching job. Former Baylor head coach Guy Morris is the latest name in the running for the Northwestern State job. Again, it seems that the changes will not be made until after the first of the year.

if miles would make a bonehead move like that i like prlly 99% of tiger fans will not be upset but very very angry. I am a miles guy all the way, i have defended him for every move he has made at LSU, but let him keep those clowns and we go into the tank next year, and ill start a fireles site myself.

You mean like he messed up hiring Crowton and Pelini? He made a bad hire. He's going to hire someone new.

I bet none of you ever made a bad decision before.

Peveto and Mallory need to leave ASAP. The players cant stand those two clowns and have little confidence in their abilities. I'm guessing a few players will be transferring.

This is correct and probably the sentiment of most Tiger fans. IMHO
