More than likely going to be Jarod Mayo.

I know NE loves Mayo, but you have to go with a proven commodity so you not?

Vrabel will be able to build this team exactly how he wants from a draft and FA standpoint.

Yes, the Pats roster is a joke on offense, but isn't it an ideal situation to build with a good owner?

A coach whose core philosophy is run first and strong defense to pin opponents into low-scoring slugfests isn't going to work in today's NFL.

Have you ever watched the QBs he’s had to deal with and the success he’s had with said bottom tier QBs? It was his core because that’s really all he had. If he can inherit a good QB in his next job he will be fine.

Maybe the rumor about Bill leaving and going to the Falcons was right. Or maybe Bill just calls it quits. Either way Vrabel headed to the Pats which is probably good for Pats fans.

yall have no idea what was going on inside the titans building. it was horrible. Vrabel was controlling everything. no we dont have good players. he picked them after running off the gm last year and AJ brown and we are dog shite. its easy to say oh vrabel nice guy good coach. im not even disagreeing with that. but with carthon and vrabel and mike not letting people do their jobs the enviroment was to toxic. he is a control freak much like BB. but a very capable coach just needs a fresh start. both parties.

The guy has Tannehill as his QB then the GM drafts Willis and Levis but Vrabel gets fired. I’m sure he’s happy to be out of there.

Apparently being complimentary toward the team for whom you played (when you're giving a speech during a ceremony where you're being inducted into the team's Hall of Fame) constitutes an "insult" toward your owner.

This may be the pettiest firing reason I've seen in any professional sport.

"Misunderstanding" leads to firing
