Have not seen his name mentioned and not sure if he’d go. But I wonder what he could do with the player and dollar riches at atm.

Since Boone passed away Mike pretty much runs things at Poke U but he doesn’t get half or even a third of the talent atm does. And did better than Jimbo in comparision (of course lots did better lol).

He likely doesn’t want the pressure of that job and conference. It is an interesting thought.

He went though a lot of bullshite at OKSt and survived it.

Hed make a great coach but you’re right…..he runs the show and has them competitive most years.

He may be like Cutcliffe and just over-perform his position.

I hope that when Gundy does leave OSU that it's a positive with either someone backing up a money truck for him or he retires with the winning season streak alive.

He is worse than Dabo when it comes to embracing NIL. He's a good coach for sure, but his next move is probably retirement.

I see him finishing his career at OSU. Like you said, he runs the show and doesn’t have the highest expectations, plus he’s an alum. He also just looks tired to me and it seems like he’s not crazy about the direction of the sport.

People automatically go to the I’m 40 but he’s actually only 6 years younger than Brian Kelly.

I honestly think they are in a good spot to be the lead dog in the new Big 12. I mean they have to have the best resources of what is left I’d assume?

Losing Bedlam hurts them. BV amd staff are cleaning up in top state recruits. For some dumb reason LR never wanted in state recruits so OSU got them and made out.

And losing that big game will hurt them long term too. Playing OU helped their recruiting. Now they have no rival. Pac teams moving to B12 will get western recruits, tx teams get best of theirs. Kansas is keeping their recruits. OU is taking best of OK and region. Not much left to pick from and with no big game on schedule its even harder. He has done well with lesser recruits but OU moving actually hurts more than helps.
