Blame the majority of fans who wanted coach O. Gundys name was out there and every poll I saw made it clear Jimbo or Herman were the only two coaches worth passing up coach O. Dumbasses

With all of the pissing and moaning I read on here about not hiring another coach from OKState and Southern Miss. Now y'all want him. This place is the worst.

Don't blame fans. It's your weak-arse AD that made the hire.

I don't get the obsession with Gundy either. He has not done anything worthy of the praise he gets here.

Whole lot of rumors flying around. Supposedly this got started because he wasn't at their press conference today to talk about the bowl game. This just screams unsubstantiated internet rumor, to me.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I think he is a good coach. To sustain success where he's at is not easy to do.

Mike Gundy would help stabilize the situation there and probably wreck shop there if given time.

No doubt he'd stabilize the program, but define "wreck shop". Because if you're talking about being a consistent playoff contender, I don't see any evidence he can do that making a lateral move (at best) within the same conference.

You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. He's been unreal at OSU.

Unreal is a bit of a stretch. I'll give him above average, but unreal isn't it.

Look what he's done there compared to the history of their program. They have an all time losing record outside of the Gundy years and he has like .700 win %.

They've had like 15 years where they finished ranked in the top 25 over the past 100 years and Gundy has delivered 7 or 8 of them. (Les had ZERO)

He has won 10 games there several times which no one else has ever done. He has had them in national title pictures, which is absurd.

He's performed miracles and would've been a great hire at LSU. He also runs a great offense.

He is just one of the MANY coaches LSU could have gotten that have a better resume and more skins on the wall than the coon arse Cookie Monster. The guy is like 60 games over .500 at Oklahoma State, he is 10 times the coach that Orgeron is.

Relative to that program, he's been beyond unreal. Again, you're clueless.
