That in order to be a good OC, you need to watch at least 8 hours of film a day, and thats the reason he stopped calling plays four years ago so he can better manage all aspects of the game. We'd be lucky if E watched 8 hours of film throughout the week.

actually that's not true

he's been the primary "film guy" on offense for years and years

you think Cam or Frank Wilson was breaking down film to build gameplans?

Can Sullivan and Ensminger watch that much before Matlock reruns start at 9?

Simply not true. And why you pissed at E? He didn’t want the job. They basically made him take it. Quit being a fricking douche and divert your anger where it’s deserved.

That would explain how explosive we’ve been on offense all these years right?

From a "technical analysis" standpoint, Steve is probably the best offensive staffer we've had for years, if you discount Cam. We've had a lot good (to great) technique guys and some great recruiters, but from an Xs and Os standpoint, Steve is as good as Stud and they were probably the best since Crowton. (ETA: I mean, Frank Wilson is no Xs and Os slouch, but that's not his main strength - he's like a younger, better, blacker, less coonass version of O, if I can even say that in 2018).

That's not a ringing endorsement, I know, but a fair assessment.

What's simply not true? The fact that I am being sarcastic that we don't have a dedicated OC?

We’ll be lucky if SE stays awake to watch 2 hrs of film a week....

I get the feeling that O thinks the minds of 4 old men friends is better than his alone...

But can you keep them all awake together to confer
