Very good up and coming defensive coordinator. His defenses are always good at forcing turnovers and kept Wake Forest competitive in a lot of games with zero offense. I doubt he would come in and be a home run recruiting guy but as far as X's and O's go it could be a good fit.

Considering he is coaching at Wake Forest, I would imagine we could offer him a six pack and one free meal at Canes and he would come.

I'm sure. I'm just thinking about how embarrassing it would be if freaking WF's DC said "Thanks, but no thanks." It's bad enough as it is that we couldn't lure Ped St's guy.

Lets interview him.

Get him a raise.

And move on the NC State's DC.

If you read his bio on the WF website, he has done a great job everywhere he has been. They don't have to come from a big program to be a great hire. I doubt he took the WF job with the intention of being there a long time. This is the kind of guy you want. Moving up, a lot of incentive to prove himself at the next level. Someone with experience success and highly motivated.

I would love this. Dude is my cousin, hes excelled at every coaching stop hes been at. I personally think hes too green for lsu, but he does run an aggressive ball hawking style of d.

Do people not realize Penn St. is a monster program with VERY deep pockets and maybe the largest alumni base in the country?

Its not like we couldn't lure a guy away from Toledo. This is Penn fricking State.

At south brunswick, pretty sure he played qb and safety. He graduated in 95. He played safety and lb at upenn.

Hes followed the same head coach to his last 3 stops, richmond, bowling green and now wake.

When people are open to the idea of bringing in guys like Bill Clark, and open to letting O be the DC even though he never was a playcaller, this should be the last thing on their minds at this point.

Wait his cousin is in this thread? May be the best shot for LSU to date.

He's been a D1 coordinator and a successful DC at more than one stop.

That is plenty of experience for me.

WAS a monster program. It's a shell of it's former self. Not only because of the Paterno/Sandusky scandal, but also because of the recent dominance of southern teams.

His defenses are fun to watch, lots of pressure and created a lot of turnovers. Pretty sure bowling green led the nation in turnovers created at some point while he was there.

I would love to see what he could do with our caliber of talent.
