Heard rumors that Sumlin didn’t allow much heavy hitting at practice, which would make sense with soft play on both sides and missed tackles on the defense. Not sure how true that is.

I just think some LSU fans are tired of our own ‘fans’ taking shots at our program...

Nobody eats their own quite like LSU, and honestly, Tigerdroppings is a huge, if not main, part of that

Chavis needs NFL talent on all 3 levels of the defense

When he doesn't have that, he is meh

Nice. They can't get our DC, so they grab a DC who shut us the frick down.

In all fairness, our offense shuts itself down half of the time lol

Not sure why Chavis made LSU look an offensive juggernaut it wasn't.

Elko might not be an 11 but he’s damn sure a 8.5 at worst. Very good hire for Jimbo. Any chance he retains coop?

Terry Price has gotten the most play as someone on that side who could be retained but who knows. I could see Cooper going with Chief to Arky

A&M officials saw that ND def limited LSU to only 17pts. Immediately said "Yep! That's who we want."

I'm all for shitting on Alleva but he just solidified Aranda for 4 years with a deal most NFL teams cant match.

You don't think NFL teams can afford 10 million dollars if they want a certain coach?

Do you have any idea how much money the NFL brings in on a yearly basis?

ETA: It's almost impossible to find NFL assistant salaries, but there's an article that was written about the dolphins when all that shite was going on a few years ago that claimed their Dline coach, not the DC, was making more than Aranda is right now.

Point is, if any NFL really wants Aranda they will come get him.

Elko was the target before Aranda reached out and absolutely fleeced LSU.

Notre Dame recruiting looks impressive, if Elko was a factor.

ND has #7 ranked class for 2018 so far.

These are 4 stars they signed early:
3 LB
1 S
1 CB
1 DT

Not bad. Does ND still recruit well on its name? Serious question.
