I wonder if they figure Chip Kelly has been there long enough to take the job. He's been there for 2 years and his previous job was the OC at New Hampshire.
Kelly has also interviewed for the Syracuse job.

I don't know. Kelly is from Massachusetts and i think I've read (a while back) that his "ultimate goal" was to eventually land at a prestigious school like a ND or Penn St.
That's second hand because it was from a blog, but still. How many ties could Kelly have out west? He turned down the Washington job already.
...from the looks of it, it won't be long before ND is open again. Weis is meeting with the AD Thursday.

kelly would kick some arse at ND, especially with the talent already in place.
cincy has gone through what, 3 starting qb's this year and all have been relatively successful. the dude can flat out coach.

Prom, I don't know how much you care but ESPN has said that Weis will be in place for another year. I'm not sure how long you meant by "it won't be long before the ND job is open again," but I believe it will be at least another year before it is possibly open.
