1000 dollars says you are one of those that discredits miles accomplishments at lsu based on the situation he walked in.
You saying that doing what he did in the situation he walked in at OSU isn't worth crediting? That will tell a lot.

If Michigan gives Miles 5 mill a year he gone. But really I think they using him to get Harbrough to come out one way or other. Then if Harbrough doesn't commit Miles will be offered job.

Only people that are happy with that game bring it up as much as you do.
You realize they were in the national title game? One of only two teams. Also won the conference. That season was still a great accomplishment that 150 other programs would kill for.
I find it hilarious yet pitiful that so many of you take national title appearances for granted like they sre no big deal. Shows how little grasp on the football landscape that many of you have.

As always, you continue to be a voice of reason for those of us who are neither a "fire Miles right now" or a "we love Miles no matter what" type fan. Thank you. The troll type posts on this board are fun at times, but a reasoned post is valued too.

Because Alabama had equal or better talent .

I wonder if he reached back.

And they made adjustments after the first game...something we didn't do and no matter how pitiful we looked we refused to try JL. I still don't see how some can forgive/forget that.

I find the attachment to an average back up quarterback 4 years later to be pretty ridiculous.

I was one of JJ's biggest supporters. I think JL should have been given a shot. We should have tried something...up tempo, no huddle, spread the defense, etc. I can't think of one noticeable adjustment we made at any point in that game...can you?

Why shouldn't they?
Les apparently doesn't think they are that big of a deal. Players on that team have said it was the same gameplan as the Nov 5 game with no changes.

I don't. But I'm comfortable and can accept the fact that lee who had zero success against Bama outside of subbing in and throwing a pass in 2010 to help seal victory, was not beating Bama that night.
We got beat. It was bad. I just don't understand why people can't move on. It's a little pathetic at this point.

Beefense5 : At what point in Miles' tenure did you start running around from thread to thread defending him? At what point did the winning pct get high enough to justify this? Or was it day one?
It really isn't necessary. You aren't going to change anyone's opinion of him.
