If his money wasn’t guaranteed, he’s looking for job. Sumlin actually did about the same in his 5 years.

Its rinse and repeat. A coach has some type of success and rides the success for the next 20 years. FSU fans weren't happy with how he left the program.

He won a title with Winston and Pruitt. Pruit leaves and he has enough offense with Winston to win the ACC but got throttle md in the semis.
Once he lost both, then the rails fell off.
At A&M, he has not had a generational QBs and despite Elko being Pruitt level, this isn’t the shitty ACC where you can just out-talent the other teams.
Jimbo is simply mediocre as a head coach and refuses to delegate the offense to an innovator.

Maybe LSU should be happy that Woody wasn’t able to pull off a Jimbo 2.0. No point in over paying for an avg coach when he can save the university some money by hiring an up and coming coach.
