I think Napier probably has the highest ceiling of any of the available coaches. Would love to have him at LSU if they're willing to take a risk on him.

Take anything Moscona says with a grain of salt. If he says it’s raining, look outside, don’t take his word for it. He is an attention whore.

Listening to this interview is really interesting

Probably the most obvious non denial denial I’ve ever heard.

He got antsy both at the beginning and then end when discussing the job.

About the 1:03 mark. It almost seems like he’s going to say..

“We’re going to miss it here”

then he catches himself.

He didn’t even say what every coach says in these situations. Things like “I love it here” “I plan on being here” or anything like that. He just flat out said “we’re not going to let this be a distraction.” If he doesn’t go to lsu, I am 100% of the belief he is going somewhere after this year and it’s already lined up.

He was the assistant head coach, during McElwains 1st year at Colo. St. You keep acting like he never coached in Colo.

Dominoes:

1. Brian Kelly

2. Luke Fickell

3. Billy Napier

Are you trying to gaslight me?

I merely pointed out that he wasn’t the OC. He wasn’t calling plays. One year there then Saban summoned him back to the big red machine

Mauck shouldn’t be making this hire, but your take here is so fricking goddamn stupid, I felt compelled to call it out.

That's a little harsh, he is a national championship winning qb that played in NFL, his opinion matters more than some random td posters's shite.

Has your turd played under Saban, giving it the ability to compare that experience with Napier? That's a well-accomplished deuce.

That is none sense. Matt absolutely has valuable insight as a product of a championship program. He is also highly intelligent and that does matter.

That said, I’ve got my favorites, but I don’t think Napier would be a fail at all. He’s be a drastic improvement versus the previous leadership.

I agree. Napier could do great things at LSU, and even if he’s not Diet Saban, he’s not going to wreck LSU’s program, not even close.

If he can win double digit games at ULL, he will do that at LSU, too.

great friends with Woodward

Honestly how many best friends does this fricker have. So far I've heard he has a close personal friendship with saban, sexton, jimbo, ed O, mauck and quite a few more. Seems like when any name is brought up, this line is used.
