Everybody likes Luke.
That’s why he’s a good hire. OM isn’t in a position to make a home run hire. They just need someone to keep the wheels from completely falling off.
Luke will help hold transfers to a minimum once sanctions are announced.

Congratulations to Luke and his family. Beating your instate rival in their house goes a long way man. This is the wisest decesion that Ole Miss could make considering all the coaching searches going on now.

Anyone that thinks this is a good hire has an elevator that evidently doesn't go all the way up to the top.

Probably the biggest reason they're staying with him. And he kept them bowl eligible.
I for one am very glad the MS schools should go back to easy W's. They were a PITA there for a few years.

We were offering 5+ million. I refuse to believe that of the interested candidates the most accomplished one is a bad offensive line coach.

Basically, Luke won’t cause the school further harm. He will keep a few players and donors donating until its time for a bigger hire.
