Has he ran strictly a pro style offense? Does he use any spread concepts? I honestly don't know. Somebody sell him to me

Multiple, pro style with power spread variations, from what little I saw of Pitt this year. Seems to maximize talent well at skill positions.

- "I do believe that nowadays you have to run the spread offense. You have to have dual-threat quarterbacks that can run the ball and throw it.

I watched Pitt play three times this season and without having any clue that he would be a potential OC candidate at LSU I made comments about how creative Pitt's offense and play calling was this year. Does a very good job of getting multiple playmakers in favorable opportunities against the defense, he kept a lot of good defenses on their heels and guessing. It's definitely a Power Spread.

Watched the Clemson game and he ran a lot of pre-snap motion that would set up jet sweeps or power runs had a decent balanced passing game. I think he could creatively get the ball in play-makers' hands while using our stable of RBs.

Sounds perfect for us with the current roster and commits.

Good points. Imo, Canada is a dang good OC. I think he would be even more successful with the talent level at LSU. Will need a solid DT-QB tho to reach full potential. Would be a solid hire IMO. Only negative I see (assume) is that he doesn't have recruting ties in LSU's main target areas, but LSU does, so he should be able to overcome that fairly quickly.

This statement by O does not meet Canada's system

But that was like a month ago. Nowadays you have to run a power spread.
