So does this mean Kiffen is out since he reportedly wants the job? No need to spur him if true

Which could be the case for LSU and USC’s AD’s. Personally I think ours is much smarter.

I don't think Campbell or Fickell would be a good fit for USC

Gotta think that's Franklin's job if he wants it. He has experience dealing with the academic issues that a private school throws at Football Staff, and has experience dealing with a massive Alumni base.

I’m worried about Campbell’s QB development. Purdy is in year 4.

Matthew Allen Campbell is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Iowa State University, a position he has held since the 2016 season. Campbell was head football coach at the University of Toledo from 2011 to 2015. Wikipedia
Born: November 29, 1979 (age 41 years)

Matt’s team also just upset Oklahoma St

41 years old is young! He could coach at LSU for several decades if he turned out really well. Of course Alabama could always steal him from LSU if he does win us multiple titles. LSU fans have plenty reasons to hate Bama!

Fans keep saying this but Saban came back and became a legend.

Saban FAILED in pros and came back to college coaching. Yes he surely became a legend. Wish we were smart enough to find a way to actually take him when he wanted to come back. Or so we were told the wanted to come back here.

My preference is Dave Aranda, so you’re implication is totally bogus. Riley is young and among the top coaches in college, he wants to win a title but cant recruit in Oklahoma like Fisher can in Texas or A LSU coach can in Louisiana. Those are the facts!

Saban, came back because he was a failure at Miami. An absolute disaster. He can't control the NFL guys like he can the college. Those guys are making as much as him. They way you deal with pro players has changed over the years and you can't treat them like the college kids.

Stop bringing up Tomlin. He isn’t going anywhere and if you believe he is, I’m surprised you know how to work the internet.

the reason he is getting brought up for both jobs is truthfully his agent. When both USC and LSU floated the number they were willing to pay in the agent circles, Tomlins agent started putting it out to people to mention Tomlin and that he was interested.

Personally i dont see it just becuase college football is such a fricking grind compared to the nfl. After the season in the NFL its back to 50 hour work weeks. in cfb, its 84 hours hours a week 45/52 weeks a year pretty much.

now with transfer and nil, you arent just recruiting new kids but you have to recruit kids to stay and coach them through NIL. its fricking massive.
