Richt said "no doubt" he could coach again, and "being more hands on. I miss coaching quarterbacks, I miss calling plays.”

After they miss on Smart and Hermon, USCe turns to Richt.

Hmmm. not sure he has any more idea about clock management than Miles though.

I was just about to post this. If Cam is out, I'd love Richt to be the next OC at LSU. National Championahip @ FSU as OC. Also, when Georgia was winning their SEC championships, Richt called plays. I'd love for Les to bring him in.

Ya know there's a lot more involved in this than simply where you went to undergrad, right?

Miami is a dumpster fire, he would have to almost start from scratch. Bad facilties, horrible fan support, a team wandering in the wilderness the last 10 years. Not to mention, richt is obviously extremely family oriented and practically half his entire family lives in Athens. You think he's gonna uproot his family and move to miami?

Shalala is on her way out. I could see them focusing more on football now, if they could get some offensive firepower and butts in the stands. Richt being an alumnus and QB guru could help him on the recruiting trail there, and if he were to win, it may lead to more commitment from the front office to football.

Richt would be a better candidate than someone like Cristobal. Personally if I were them though, I'd go after someone younger (have to wonder how burned out Richt may be).

The biggest issue with Miami is what kind of budget will the head coach have for staff hires.

Would be a great fit for LSU OC. He is someone that can withstand Les being fired next season.

I would think Richt would land a head coaching job somewhere. That being said, I'd take him as offensive coordinator.

If he was OC, we'd have the nicest coaching staff in history.

This would be a dream hire. You'd get Eason and all of our problems are answered

Yea, id take my chances with the clock if we could get Richt to call plays and coach our QBs. He's had some good ones. He might be the kind of guy Miles would actually trust to open up the offense.

Just make him promise not to get Fournette hurt.
