It's kind of sad that this guy has done a great job at KU and he will never get any offers from other schools simply because he doesn't have the right image.

I wonder if Mangino flies with the team (he would probably take up 2 or 3 seats on a commercial jet) or if he has to fly separately on a private plane? Not trying to be funny....just sayin that a jumbo jet might not be jumbo enough for him.

It's not the food, it's the humidity. I would worry about his stamina and ability to withstand the elements down here.

Last year Mangino was recruiting in Kansas City. He was trying to find I-435 that loops around the city.
He pulled off the road and went up to this guy entering a convenience store. He asked the guy, "How do I get to 435." The guy said, "Eat more salads".
