Remember he was the hot name that was going to take over when Mullen left State? I still think he is a good coach but he has certainly regressed at ULL. Shitty recruiter?

It's a very well known fact that they do NOT have any money to buy that roid raging clown out. They are with their messiah for a good while. Especially since their fans are jumping ship. They have no "big" donors that will pony up that kind of money.

UL fan here (ULL, sorry). People around here love Hud and what he has done for the program. He's not on the hot seat at all. But fans are disappointed in the play this year. But keep in mind, we are 2-4 and two losses were in OT. Could easily be 4-2. That appears to be the sentiment. Jennings is meh also.

Forever. They'll never get a better coach than Hudspeth. He just needs to get stronger recruiters on his staff.

He has alienated several of the high school coaches with his arrogance. Come on, taking a helicopter to go to three high school games on one night all within LFT parish,really?

He took a perennial struggling Sunbelt program and went 9-4 with bowl wins 4 consecutive years. And didn't get as much as a sniff from any other universities about their job openings. That should tell you something.
People in the know knew there was dirt to be dug up. Now, after the sanctions and several good recruits not academically eligible to enroll they are on the down swing. I was shocked at how bad their offense looked last night.
He gets 1mill a year to coach so the Cajuns are right to expect results. I'd be surprised if they canned him this year, but next year could be his last.
Some Cajun fans want their admin. to make a play for Miles.

It has always been about "him". He is one of the biggest attention whores around.
