I think Freeman is the right fit culturally and the right coach. I think the players will get behind him and he’d have LSU back on the map.

I’d love him at this point.

You can use a little bit of sense to figure most of this out

ND is heading to playoff again a year after he went to the championship game

He’s making $9M/yr and has a young QB in place who they can build around for two more years ahead. He's also a Midwest guy.

Arrogant to think he’s leaving imo

Also arrogant of some here to think he’s beneath LSU.

There is no way I see this happening. He has an easier path to the playoffs every year at ND than he would running through the SEC gauntlet every season.

Ask yourself why you think Freeman would leave ND for LSU.

I love when people say shite like this. “Ask yourself why would he leave…?” Who freaking knows why anyone else does what they do. Why do you do what you do and other people don’t?? Dumb arse post.

Need a defensive guy that hires a great OC and QB coach. The Saban blueprint works.

Freeman is the best fit culturally and he sounds like he knows what he’s doing.

Why is it a worry? Marcus would be a damn good hire imo. Don't see why he'd leave Notre Dame though. You miss out on Lane, he's better than most of the other names you see on this board.

if we are being intellectually honest, he's a better coach than Lane...
