It actually does. You can win with mediocre coaching but you can not win with mediocre talent. Talent also has a way of making mediocre coaches look great.

I went back and looked, Skip actually wanted to meet with him and possibly hire him after Saban left. Jack said negotiations were going well with LSU but Jacksonville had some kind of contract issue with him and would not let him explore other jobs. He was supposed to fly to Baton Rouge and Skip was on the runway waiting to meet him but Jacksonville being the shite franchise it is, denied him from leaving. I think he had close ties to LSU at the time, like family members that went here or something and be wanted to be here. We got Les though so I guess it worked out.
