Saban can only sign 25 kids. He can't come close to cornering the market on Texas talent.

Saban to Texas could actually hurt the SEC West overall strengh. Bama, LSU, and Texas A&M would feel immediate recruiting heat now.

So, trying to spin Saban leaving Bama into something bad for the whole SEC West? Sorry, you're not going to get the rest of us to share in your pain. Saban leaving Bama is nothing but good for the rest of the SEC West.

What silence? He has already said he is too old to move. His wife told the WSJ they are not going anywhere.

You have to take the timing of that quote into context. Of coarse he's going to deny any rumors mid-season. Denying it now along with signing the new contract is a different story.

Mack and Saban in the Texas Athletic Department building at the same time.

This is exactly why Saban will not go to Texas. No way he goes if Mack is still on campus.

i dont think saban will sign if Mack is anywhere in the picture... Saban runs his own program and does not want MACK lingering around his program

Chicken

Can you unlock the Bama board for just like 20 minutes to the LSU fans so we can rain hate and discontent upon them?

Mack has already agreed to step down on Monday. He will get his severance ($2.5 million) plus he gets to stick around until the end of his contract (7 more years?) making $500k/yr to shake hands.

Allegedly, but yet he has reportedly denied this and is on the road recruiting!
