Tomorrow will be the make or break for GT23. Once Mack announces his "retirement" tomorrow, that's when the action starts on Saban actually making the move. Probably won't happen same day so the next 48 hours could determine GT's future as a P.I.

He's already a P.I. regardless. Even if saban stays at bama, he still has my respect. Gotta hand it to him. Once the dominoes start falling, GT23 will move on to his next mission. Never again will I doubt his capability. Every time his name is brought up, I will remove my hat and salute...

have fun guys

Will Friday the 13th be bad luck for Bama? I would rather him wait until he is NOLA for the Sugar Bowl to announce.

I'm starting to get greedy. I hope Mack digs in and refuses to resign so we can have more fireworks.

I'll pay top dollar for any pictures of Mack and Saban in the Texas Athletic Department building at the same time.

Saban to Texas could actually hurt the SEC West overall strengh. Bama, LSU, and Texas A&M would feel immediate recruiting heat now. Saban would get who ever he wanted the next 3 years. No depth chart to attack on the recruiting trail would be open season for Saban/Texas. Bama's depth chart was other programs best weapon against Saban/Bama these days, but that will be gone moving forward. If Saban goes Bama has gotta make the stacked deck Saban leaves payoff for them. Hiring the right coach will be important. We'll see what happens, but I think Saban leaving the SEC weakens it more than it helps it.

Mack has already agreed to step down on Monday. He will get his severance ($2.5 million) plus he gets to stick around until the end of his contract (7 more years?) making $500k/yr to shake hands.
