What's funnier to me are the people who use logic and apply it to rumors, but only sometimes. When it's something they want to believe, they abandon the same logic and they eat it up.

Because there is a sizable portion of the UT fan base & boosters who are expecting the biggest coaching steal in a long time. Impact has to be assessed and messaged correctly to avoid what will be interpreted as Saban rejecting UT. Mack staying has to be sold in a way that can satisfy everyone.
