Why is this the only candidate we have brought in this weekend? U are also referring to a scenario where O was merely going through the process while waiting on Neilson. Who's the Neilson in this scenario?

I know I will be laughed at but at this point Lance Guidry would be a better choice. If nothing else promote CR to DC and Guidry as backs coach. Before you think I am smoking crack look at some of his defenses.

You're misunderstanding me. I'm highlighting the issue of bringing in a DC with DB coaching as his specialty while still having Raymond on staff

Well... the Vikings are in my viewing area. I have the unfortunate nightmare of watching them every Sunday.
Most of their DBs were rookies. It was a shite show. Hard to judge get him.
He has the same exact resume as Roy Anderson.. I don’t see LSU rushing to make him a DC. Haha

I think his point is more about the fact it is redundant and we are already short on coaching spots as it is. It would make more sense for your DC to be a LB or DL coach to kill two birds with one stone.

We know of three individuals that turned down LSU publicly - Freeman, Nielsen, and Odom.
If we're at the point where we're having to interview Daronte Jones for defensive coordinator, just imagine how many people have expressed disinterest behind closed doors.

Something doesn't add up here at all. Why hire a DC who's specialty is DBs when we have Raymond. Would make much more sense to go after LB or DL coach considering how many coaches we already have on staff and what positions need to be filled on the defensive side. This guy doesn't even fit the mold of the potential candidates up to this point. Would be a bad hire if they are legitimately going to interview this guy.
