And you left out the part about mixing it up and running it out of the spread vs running it out of a bunch formation ALL the time

Canada must have slept with your old lady because you are relentless attacking him.

Why does your thread not include the success of Canada's passing game? LINK They average about 217 passing, 220 rushing. Very balanced fool

The play calling isn't balanced.

And Canada hasn't really fielded an offense that excels in the passing game. Completion percentage, passing efficiency, passing yards, scoring offense, etc, have all been incredibly average over the years.

Sorry for not participating in the groupthink. Nothing that Canada has done since 2012 has been "elite", which is exactly what we need at this point.

I appreciate your determination... Hell I'd hire you to run a media campaign if I needed to create doubt in someone's ability.

But Canada runs the style of offense that uses short/intermediate passing to open up the running game. He is committed to the running game, but is capable of using the pass to keep a defense from stacking the box. It's exactly the right fit at LSU IMHO.

His team scored over 500 pts

His team was successful in the red zone

His QBs threw for 26 TDs. And only 6 picks.

From everything I'm reading and interviews with ex players, he runs what best fits his players.

This. And more specifically, points in the 2 or 3 important games that define the season. Whether they beat Mizzou by 42 or 28 is immaterial.

This is also what I've heard, and I'm no expert on his style, but the little I've watched shows his ability to keep a defense off balance with the passing game and continue to attack weaknesses once he finds them. I watched his offense do well against Penn State and thought that his style attacking a team with more talent up front was something LSU could use against the freak shows in Tuscaloosa. Keep them off balance rather than in attack mode.

At no time did LSU's offense light it up against 2 top 5 teams this year

LSU's offense did not average over 40 points this year

Ensminger was not a Boyles award finalist.

I think it's a good hire

I didnt say the playcalling was balanced, I said the reukts were balanced.

Unlike LSU, where the results were very unbalanced, and we averaged 170 yards oassing compared to 230 rushing. Plus we were 117 in the country with only 10 td passes, where as canada at pitt was tied for 28th with 26td passes.

Your stats listing sucks and only tells a portion of the storyline.

You suck

Your stats seem to only come from this season.

Canada has been quite average prior to this year - and even this year his offense had serious problems.
