LSU basketball HC speculation

Johnny Jones is probably gone after this season IMO. Last season was a complete shitshow and this year could be worse. Who do you think LSU will go after? Maybe Gregg Marhshall from Wichita State?

Marshall has turned down better jobs than ours....Until the fans and admin decide they give a shite about basketball we'll be shopping out of the bargain bin for coaches.

You serious mayne? Jones is going to get fired, it isn't a mystery. Just wondering who the fans have on their short list as a possible replacement. Hell, even Tulane was able to get an old washed-up NBA coach.

Does Ben Jacobson move the needle for anyone?
He's had a nice track record of success at UNI considering Wichita is in the same league. I know he signed a huge contract extension recently, but I think he'd be an easier get than Marshall if LSU wants to be serious about basketball.

It's a basketball school and they have great fan support.

Not sure how these 2 have so much pull. Neither of them brought a national championship. Dale got close, but frick.... he is what damn near 90 now. What's he going to do stop coming to the games? What's Hollis gonna do? Have someone sell you some prime America crap?
