Ummm... I have never heard anyone talk like CEO!

OK people 1/3 wanted Fisher, 1/3 wanted Herman and 1/3 wanted CEO!

Try to find the silver lining. Fishers defense this year has looked like they haven't practiced in 6 years at times.

Herman was not going to be a long term hire probably anyway. And they haven't exactly been tearing it up this year at Houston. Maybe he isn't head coach material. O sucked at his first shot at HC. Herman is unproven as a HC no matter how good of an offensive mind he is.

Kiffin is a great OC but he has sucked as a head coach everywhere he has been. No proof that Herman is any different.

What do we get with CEO? A head coached that screwed up at Ole Miss. Coached and controlled a certain way that did not work. Then he gets a interim shot at USC and does a great job. But he doesn't get that job even though he did really well fixing the things he did wrong at Ole Miss.

Now he steps in at LSU who's offense has been horrible for years. And what happens, LSU offensive records start tumbling left and right! No a single LSU coach in its entire history has put put up the numbers that LSU did against Missouri and A&M. Defense has been great. No credit to O other than not screwing up what was working already.

If you are happy... great. If you are unhappy with the hire at least acknowledge that CEO just might be a good move. And revel in the fact that IF he does well we will be able to keep him and if not then we don't have to keep him.

We fire Les Miles and hire another Les Miles, a lovable guy that needs great coordinators to win. Saban, Harbaugh and just about every good coach today is cerebral. If this is true our elite status is gone and we go back to being an above average program.

Maybe that isn't a bad thing.
