How is he full of shite? The guy goes around the country and sees what all every has all season long. Do you think he has some sort of bias against FSU and is just making it up?

No school can compare to A&M. I think Herbstreit is using the lazy line others do. FSU has made great improvements since 2010. The only thing left is the football facility. That is going to get done.

All I know is the prospect of Jimbo going to AnM pisses me off. We were supposed to get him and ended up with O (whom I like, actually). But if you are an LSU fan, there is absolutely some concern there. He is a really good coach and will have access to some of the very best quarterbacks in the nation. Our dominance over AnM could very well come to an end. And with what Saban is doing to recruiting in n la from two states away, Fisher will be trying to absolutely rape n. La..... so, yeah, I’m definitely concerned.

Interesting take. I feel the opposite. After the way his team crashed and burned this season, I think LSU dodged a bullet. I hope A&M overpays for him, personally.

Herbstreit also said Chris Rix would win the Heisman so when it comes to FSU definitely listen to what he has to say

I think Jimbo can and probably will take A&M to another level. What's to be seen is if he can maintain it. He didn't at FSU.

I'm really curious to see if he will change his offense some. He's got to speed it up. His 4th down decisions are an issue

The reason you need updated shiny facilities with tvs and nutsack washers and led nights etc etc is to get recruits. Lets see how FSU has done in recruiting recently

2017-5th
2016-2nd
2015-3rd
2014-4th

So it clearly hasnt had any negative outcome on FSU.......

A&M can out spend anyone

What would be special is if they could actually out play somebody.

When Jimbo's name was being plastered all over for the LSU job last year I decided to dig a little deeper into his FSU tenure. He started out slow, won the NC in year 4, went 13-1 and then 10-3 & 10-3 before the wheels fell off this year. The ACC has been a 2 team league for most of his time there. His teams have looked pedestrian at best since Winston left. Since 2013 he's had recruiting classes in the top 5 so talent isn't an issue. Jimbo will need some time to rework A&M's soft arse roster so how much time does he get? He needs an elite QB and A&M doesn't have that on the roster right now. His recruiting territory is Florida heavy and if UF is rolling that gets more difficult. He'll be battling Texas, LSU, Oklahoma, etc, for Texas kids. Jimbo has his work cut of for him for sure.

His offense without an elite QB allows for lesser teams to win

A possible 4 first round draft picks on defense, and we signed 4 5 stars in February. But Jimbo and Herbie Herbstreit will tell you right quick that our concrete floors and hanging ceilings are why Jimbo's offense only had 30 yards in the second half against Boston College.

At some point, you can't get extorted every year. If he is playing flirty with someone else after a season like this, I would say frick off.

Might not be elite but Starkel looked pretty damn good Saturday night especially as a Redshirt freshman!

Jimbo doesn't run a spread offense of any kind though. Starkel will have to go under center and drop back. Next year won't be kind to Jimbo or Starkel.

I'd rather not think about that thanks... I wish UF would pay Cristobal 3 million just to recruit. Taggart is fantastic too.

i think he's gone this time. fsu people were confident they'd keep him the last two times this came up. this year they seem resigned to the fact he's leaving.
Probably the fact that they go through this every year as of late with him doesn't help.
