The reason why this always happens is because the aTm people are actually being told all this. They are being told Aranda wants to leave and that it's a done deal.
They are being told this from Aranda's camp. Aranda wanted a raise from LSU. And we gave it to him.

I don't think LSU would throw down $10 million($12.1 with the new tax bill) guaranteed, if he wasn't halfway out the door. Aranda didn't play LSU, he legitimately wanted to leave and financially he couldn't.

reminds me of the office episode I watched today. Stanley tells Michael that he got a job offer from another branch for more money and he would take it. Michael goes to that branch to vandalize it basically to try to stop them from taking Stanley. Stanley ends up staying anyway just a ploy to get money, but he was amazed that michael figured it out. (he didn't)
