Riley has yet to show he’s not Kliff Kingsbury with worse hair and a family.

Yep. He may be a great xs and os schemer but he's definitely not a leader. He should owe Stoops everything for hiring him in 2015.

Lincoln Riley hasn't done anything of note. His first HC job was a program that Bob Stoops built. His getting the USC job was based solely on his ability to ride those coat tails and not completely frick it up while he was in charge. Time will tell if he is a legit HC and not someone who falls into jobs. I wasn't the biggest fan of Brian Kelly either, but thank goodness LSU didn't hire this fraud.

What does Grinch have on Riley that he has stuck behind him all of these years. I would assume Riley and USC could pluck probably any DC they want.

Lincoln Riley just thinks he can outscore everybody and refuses to address the horrible defense

Guess we already know USC is going to be overrated next year with preseason top 10 rankings since they won't have a defense.

Could you imagine the meltdown if LSU had a Grinch defense and the head coach said he was keeping him?

I'll repeat it here since for some reason LSU fans think LSU was ever seriously interested in Riley still: It was never happening because LSU never showed direct interest in him and vice versa. His agent already knew about the BK deal since Riley has the same agent as BK. His agent is the one who floated Riley's interest to LSU out there as a way to use it against USC as leverage. That's what happens when you're a highly sought job. BK was their target, they hit him early, they snagged him. Riley was never a serious target here that was his agent getting more for his client bending over USC and it worked. He and his wife wanted to go to USC from the beginning.

Trace Armstrong and Woody made the LSU boosters their bitches.
