Napier lost to Texas pretty handily in week 1 in their new staff's first game. If we hire Napier, you'll know that we whiffed on at least 10 candidates and LSU is far from an elite program

Kirby Smart lost to Ed Orgeron two years in a row by a combined score of 73-26. Does that mean you wouldn't bring him over?

In the playoffs. That’s not a put down, it’s a compliment. How many serious candidates have actually even made it to a playoff game? Not Aranda, Fickell, Tucker, Napier, Kiffin, Campbell, Rhule, etc.

Gerry Dinardo beat Nick Saban by 19 points

This sort of comparison is stupid.

You sound like one of those guys who thinks that if team A beats team B by 3 and we beat team B by 23 then we’d beat team A by 20.

Riley and a top-notch defensive coordinator will recruit elite talent on defense at LSU. I'm not worried one iota about that! Surely you don't think he's ignorant, do you? He knows in SEC you must have stellar defense to go along with creative, dynamic offense.

Fwiw, Brady only scripted 3rd down and Red zone. Steve called the offense.
