Because you have no source, are speculating, and therefore nobody cares about what you think will happen.

When you post crap like this..unless you give us a source or can prove that you are really somebody in the know..then the shite will get whacked.

If they let every tom, dick, and hary post saying, "I know such and such" then this site would be full of that.

It's easy to say "I know he's gone," or "I know he's staying." You have a 50% chance of being correct. It doesn't make you some sort of genius because you got it right..and it doesn't mean you can come back here and say "I told you so."

Highly Possible.

The longer the delay has not = LSU get lined up to move fast.

Sounds like a mutual parting with no hard feelings, especially if buy-out waived.

Good Luck to Les. Thanks for 3 beyond exciting years

I don't think this is an outlandish scenario.

IMHO the meeting with Brandon is a formality. There has been little reported activity regarding other candidates. Miles and Alleva conceivably made a mutual decision that it is time to move on, and lowering the buyout only would make sense if Alleva already had someone lined up.

Not so far-fetched.

guess what, I just confirmed with my source in the AD's office that he is going to have a new contract by tomorrow evening.

I just talked to Les. He is looking forward to heading out to the "Twilight" set and meeting the cast.

If Schad has any clue as to what he is talking about with the waived buyout, I would hope Patterson is already signed and sealed to be announced concurrent with Miles to Michigan.

I would hope LSU is smarter than letting this push to get Miles a new contract. Nobody BUT Michigan wants Miles and he was on the hot seat most of the year here. Why not let them have him and move on? Why throw more good money after bad?

I agree with this contingent upon his replacement.

Neither believe nor disbelieve what you say, but agree with JGT this would be optimum outcome.
