He’s not. It’s pointless to talk about.

And you know this how? please post evidence of Meyer rejecting LSU offer.

Imagine a program that Les Miles and Ed Orgeron won national titles at but run by Urban Meyer.

I think people put too much importance into how much they love a school or are a part of the culture.

He wouldn't give a shite about LSU. He didn't give a shite about UF or Ohio St either, for him it's all about proving he's the best CFB coach there is. Urban Meyer is all about Urban Meyer.

I say all of this as someone that would be thrilled if he were hired at LSU. But he'd be all about himself and not LSU.

I promise you Saban rejoiced the day Urban left the SEC.

Saban and Meyer were supposed to be the next Hayes-Schembechler. He's the only one that's been able to truly compete head to head with Saban in all phases

Urban would be lethal at LSU, let’s hope it doesn’t happen.

No one understood the point. Urban has never been a coordinator. But he is a great coach because he is a great CEO and knows what he wants out of his program, offensively and defensively. Point being, just because the person doesn't call plays doesn't mean we should pass.

He went to Cincinnati. . .

Always disliked him for his lack of integrity and lately, judgment. I want the next head coach to have both.

This is all nonsense. There is zero chance Urban is LSU’s football coach next year. He’d take the USC job before the LSU one. I think this Jacksonville gig is his last coaching job ever. But he may consider Notre Dame if Kelly leaves in the next year or 2.

Agree 100%. I included Saban in my first draft but wanted to keep this about Meyer.

They just see the program as a vessel for their talent to be demonstrated. As long as they have the resources I don't think they care much about the program.
