Look i know it's not the same thing, but man this reminds me of the women's bball search. A few people where saying it was mulkey, and that just seemed hard to believe. I went to the Baylor boards and they where laughing hard at the notion of her leaving for lsu. As the days wore on, the tone shifted, and eventually she was gone. I realize football ain't women's bball, but the precedent is set

that their biggest burn is if you don't get Riley then you had to settle for your second choice. Bitch O just won a Natty here. Any of these candidates should do fine, and better than OU for that matter.

Yeah, after that presser, I'd be worried if I were them.
I mean, I don't think Riley will end up in BR but it's more than possible he does. He addressed the rumors with basically as generic of a word salad of coachspeak as possible. He didn't even make an effort at any kind of denial.
He's either in serious talks with SW or he's masterfully posturing for a big raise.
I live in the beating heart of Sooner nation and as such I'm conditioned, by exposure, to DESPISE them ALL as fans. And I'm on record as preferring Aranda over Riley... but if Riley does abscond for LSU, I would thoroughly enjoy the nuclear meltdown of those around me.

You are assuming LSU made a offer! There is no proof of that. A lot crap being put out.
