You're the AD, and the only 2 available HC candidates for your school are Lane Kiffin and Bobby Petrino? You have to choose one. Which?

I'm thinking Kiffen learned a lot from one of the best HCs in fb and has matured a lot too. He wasn't ready to handle the big-time HC jobs he had earlier. We'll all know a lot more about all that when we see how Kiffin handles his new opportunity at FAU.
I doubt Petrino's character has improved much.
Considering the above and what it would cost to hire Kiffin vs Petrino, to me it's an easy decision. I'd hire Kiffin.

Kiffin: boy genius, big BIG history of arrogance, immaturity, might meet his potential and excel, or might leave the program in a divisive mess; clock is ticking and he has something to prove
or
Petrino: arrogant offensive mastermind, breeds poor sportsmanship and loves to blow out undermanned opponents, has the ethics and integrity of a ghetto pimp, will get a lot of empty wins but can't reach the top rung, continues to be exposed as one of the sleaziest slimeballs in football and is an almost sure bet to leave the program in shambles and likely probation.

won everywhere he went except ATL when the QB Vick was arrested for dog fighting.
functionally the same thing happened to Saban when Ricky Williams moved to Canada.
I would take a big class football state championship high school coach at random over Kiffin.
His HC record is turrble. plus you have the coed recruiters at UTk.
