More than UK and Ole Miss according to the Clarion Ledger. Vanderbilt is not listed. I'm guessing they are more than VU, but who knows.

How desirable is Les Miles as a head coach really? He's a great guy, and great ambassador. We all know that. But from an X/O standpoint, especially considering his track record since 2011, are schools really going to bend over backwards to get him hired?

He's still employed, while Miles is not.

I agree, LSU made Miles, not the other way around...

Actually talked with a MSU grad on Sunday at a festival and he told me they would be EXCITED to have Les Miles.

He'd do better in La than Bert & Sumlin.

Tennessee should be On the phone with miles asap.

I'm sure Saban would offer no objections.

I think he offers a little more then that. He ran a clean program and never got the university in any trouble. I also think he had a pretty good graduation rate. His record by LSU expectations is not that good the last three years but that would be a big step up for some schools.

I do agree with some other posters that Miles recruiting before LSU was probably top 15. At MSU it will probably be the same or worse.

he would be absolutely terrible at MSU with the lack of talent there. It would be a laughing stock

I do not know of a single State fan that wants Les Miles as HC. Miles wouldn't even be in the top 5 for consideration at MSU. Besides, his days in the SEC are probably done. To Les' credit, he's a players coach and would recruit better than Mullen, but probably wouldn't win any more games.

I'm hoping Mullen gets the gig at Boston College, if it opens, that way he can train for the Boston Marathon in bean town, and get his ignorant bullshite arse where he belongs. He's done great at State, but he's also DONE at State, and it's time for him to move on.

Les has learned from mistakes and he would hire best OC and DC to call plays for games. He would do great there like coach O. Geaux Les.

Sure. At MSU he's still employed. Would Mullen still be employed at LSU with those results?

On the small chance that Les actually learned something from his termination, he could present problems for some conferences for a few more years.

No you don't want MIles anywhere near Louisiana in his next coaching gig!!! Personally, I wish he would take an ESPN gig for the next 5 years!!!!

I want Les to take Corso's spot as the goofy coach on the Gameday set whenever Lee decides to retire.

State fans wanting Mullen fired are retarded. He's brought them a terrific amount of success for their program. Oh and they lost a QB that is starting for one of the best teams in the NFL right now.

Sorry, but that's just dumb. Look at USC after Carrol, Michigan after Carr, Tennessee after Fulmer, Texas after Brown, etc.

A school's name doesn't carry as much success as some of y'all think it does.

The level headed ones do not. It's only the extremely emotional and extreme message board types that usually squeak the loudest.

People that say MSU fans are retarded that want Mullen gone, are simply on the outside looking in. You don't know what's really going on with this football team. We should be 6-2, or 5-3 right now, and would be if players were inspired.

There is zero leadership in the locker room, on the sideline, and Mullen won't remove Hevesy. Therefore, Mullen has to go...that's if we want to win again, and if he wants to win again.
